Right now, Planned Parenthood, the leader of the abortion industry, is facing multiple investigations in several states for allowing sexual abuse of children to go unreported, as well as encouraging young girls to lie about their age in order to obtain an abortion.

Yet the pro-abortion leaders in Congress gave Planned Parenthood $350 million of your tax dollars last year.

And now they want even more money from you!

Pro-Life Congressman Mike Pence (R-IN) has drafted an amendment that would prevent  federal funds, your tax dollars, from going to Planned Parenthood.

If we do not act today, Congress will continue to pump millions of your tax dollars into the abortion industry. Planned Parenthood, in turn, will continue to protect child abusers and rapists by allowing sexual abuse of minors to go unreported, and will cover up abuse with abortion.

Sexual abuse of children is bad enough, but recent investigations have revealed explosive new reports that show Planned Parenthood coaches young girls to lie about their age and age of their child’s father in order to bypass parental consent and notification laws. Planned Parenthood has been radically outspoken against ANY “common ground” restrictions to abortions, including waiting periods and informed consent—even simple sonogram laws have been reviled and opposed by Planned Parenthood.

Thanks for being a part of the team for Free Our Health Care Now! In six weeks, over 465,000 people have signed saying no to government health care!

The House health reform bill will outlaw private insurance coverage that is bought and sold in the open market. Instead, Congress wants to force all private insurance outside the place of work to be purchased in an “exchange” created and controlled by the government. Also, within the “exchange” insurance not approved by the government will be outlawed! So much for private plans! So much for our ability to choose!

What kind of care will you get from the health plan the government does approve? A new federal health board will decide whether your health care is “effective” or “appropriate.” According to Tom Daschle, the idea is based on Britain’s model which has determined that one year of life is worth only $44,000. The health board will consist of 17 bureaucrats appointed by the Secretary of HHS, whose job is to “enable clinicians, patients, consumers, and payers to make more informed health care decisions that improve quality and value.” I don’t need the government to “enable” me to make decisions that improve quality and value for me. Do you?

Why 40 Days?
God has used the period of 40 days throughout history to bring about major transformations: Noah-40 days of rain; Moses-transformed by 40 days on Mt. Sinai; David-transformed by Goliath’s 40 days of challenge; Elija-transformed when God gave him 40 day of strength from one meal and of course Jesus-transformed the world following His 40 days in the desert.
40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life campaign with a vision to access God’s power through prayer, fasting and peaceful vigil to end abortion in America.
The mission of the campaign is to bring together the Body of Christ in a spirit of unity during a focused 40 day campaign of prayer, fasting and peaceful activism, with the purpose of repentance, to seek God’s favor to turn hearts and minds from a culture of death to a CULTURE OF LIFE, thus bringing an end to abortion in America.

Before getting involved with the 40 Days for Life campaign, please remember that prayer and fasting are the foundation. If there is no abortion facility in your town, praise God!
But wherever you are or whatever you’re doing, you can pray to end abortion.
Prayer and fasting: 
Christ told us that some demons can only be driven out by prayer and fasting. The two go hand in hand. Prayer keeps us rooted in the fact that it is our desire to carry out God’s will. Fasting is a sacrifice that helps us reach beyond our own limitations with God’s help. Fasting is not a Christian diet; it is a form of physical prayer. You can fast from food, TV, alcohol … anything that separates you from God.
 Constant vigil:
The most visible component of 40 Days for Life is a constant prayer vigil outside a place where children are aborted. It is the hope that the vigil can be maintained 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is a prayerful witness to the clinic’s patients and employees, and to the entire community, that evil is in our midst and that with God’s help, it will be defeated.
 Community outreach:
During 40 Days for Life, the pro-life message is proactively taken to the community through focused, grassroots educational efforts. People are given the opportunity to visibly show their support for 40 Days for Life. A door-to-door petition and education drive reaches out. Informational flyers raise awareness about abortion. This outreach can include church involvement, media contact and campus outreach.
